Children's Disability Register - Surrey County Council (Registration does not mean that a young person becomes eligible for services, but is used to plan local services, and forms the basis of a mailing list to informa nd consult parents and carers)orks with college and school leavers with learning disabilities to help them find meaningful full or part time paid employment and make the transition from school to employment a positive experience.

Deaf Services (Surrey County Council)

Disability Equipment Service (DES) - Lists second-hand disability equipment being sold by individuals in specific areas.

Employability - A supported employment service which enables and supports people with learning disabilities enter into meaningful part time or full time, paid employment.

Learning Disability Partnership Board (Surrey) - Meets monthly and sends out bulletins to over 3000 people to ensure they are aware of activities. Also operates four Local Valuing People Groups to ensure that people at a local level are involved and informed.

 Social Information on Disability - Provides information services, and develops resources and networks, to ensure that disabled people have the information that they need to have choice and equality of opportunity in their daily lives.

 Surrey Adult Linked Disability Register - A voluntary register for disabled adults 18+

Surrey Association for Visual Impairment (SAVI) - Works with blind and partially sighted people in Surrey, and provides services so they may lead fuller, more independent lives.

Surrey Independent Living Council (SILC) - Helps people with disabilities, and others who use or want to use Direct Payments, to live independently and to arrange the support and services they require.

Surrey County Council - transition from children's to adults' social care

Surrey Supported Employment - A local partnership of services which help people to find work.  SSE specialises in supporting people who have a health condition or a disability or are disadvantaged in the labour market.  

Surrey Student Transport Partnership (SSTP) - Provides students with advice on transport assistance and support and up to date travel information for all public transport providers servicing schools and colleges in Surrey.

Surrey Coalition of Disabled People - Run and managed by disabled people for disabled people. Campaigns and promotes the rights of disabled people to have equality of opportunity and to live independently.
