Aiming High for Disabled Children Surrey (now Surrey Short Breaks invested in a number of additional services over the last 18 months and hope that you have been able to access these services.

The team recently closed the 2010-11 survey to find out how parents'  experience of short breaks in Surrey has changed in this time. The full report can be found below but here are some of the key findings:

Aiming High achieved........

• An increased range of short break services.
• Easier access and more places available at activities including Disability Challengers, Reigate & Redhill YMCA and after school clubs.
• Raised awareness about short break services in Surrey.

Still needs to work on...............

• Reaching more families with information on all short break services available to them.
• Supporting inclusive services.
• Supporting an even more diverse range of services for disabled children.
